Sometimes, the lives of the rich and famous seem so perfect that it's hard to believe they could want for more. But if money and fame were all it took to be happy and fulfilled, then there wouldn't be so many celebrities seeking religion, spirituality and a higher power. While some celebrities keep their religion private, others have been more public about their path to the powers that be.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
Hang out with Madonna. Celebs such as Britney Spears reportedly were turned on to the ancient Jewish mysticism of Kabbalah through the Queen of Pop. Madonna, raised Roman Catholic, still practices Kabbalah, while Britney is now reportedly under the tutelage of a "Christian life coach."
Step2
Hit rock bottom. Sometimes, religion is the last resort for people when they hit rock bottom. Actress, Juliette Lewis credits Scientology with helping her climb out of a "bottomless pit of despair and apathy." Singer Lisa Marie Presley has echoed similar statements, saying "Were it not for Scientology, I would either be completely insane or dead by now."
Step3
Spend some time in the slammer. Many people who've spent time behind bars have found religion there, and celebrities are no exception. After Paris Hilton served a 22-day jail sentence in 2007, she told Larry King during her first post-prison interview that she passed the time reading Bible scriptures.
Step4
Check into Narcanon. This drug and alcohol rehabilitation program is closely linked to the Church of Scientology. Kirstie Alley has credited Narcanon and Scientology with helping her kick a cocaine addiction, stating, "Without Scientology, I would be in an alley somewhere looking for drugs."
