How to Join MySpace Chat Rooms

There are many Internet communities and MySpace ranks as one of the largest with millions of members. Connect with these members by joining MySpace and reading profiles, post on the forums or join the chat rooms to talk to others with your interests.

Instructions

1. Join MySpace (see Resources below). Fill out the short form with your information and press submit. They will send a verification email to the email address you signed up with so just click on the link in that email and join MySpace.

2. Login into MySpace using the email address and password you gave when you signed up. You will be on the home page and you should see the words, "Hello your name".

3. Scroll down the home page and look on the left-hand side. Underneath the control panel and applications, you will see "community." Below that, you will see "chat rooms".

4. Click on the words "chat rooms." On the next screen, it will say "welcome to MySpace Chat" and you will see chats by category, location or age.

5. Choose the category chat rooms and begin participating by clicking on the words, such as "love and relationships". Now choose the actual chat you want, such as "dating."

6. Join the MySpace chat room that pops up automatically. Begin chatting by typing your words in the box at the bottom of the screen and pressing send.

7. Leave the chat room by closing the chat room pop up box. Click the red "X" at the top of the screen to close the chat box.
