The world of actual competitive wrestling is nothing like the "professional" game. While the ultimate goal to winning is to pin your opponent to the mat, there is also a method of scoring points much like in boxing.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

    Winning

  1. Step 1

Pin your opponent by getting him on his back with his shoulders to the mat for two seconds. A pin, also called a fall, will immediately end the match with you as the winner.

  2. Step 2

Score the most points for the duration of the match. There are multiple ways you score points in a match through either your own moves or opponent's penalties. The wrestler with the most points wins if there is no pin.

  3. Step 3

Win by disqualification if your opponent is penalized four times during the match.

  4. Scoring

  5. Step 1

Score a takedown for 2 points by getting your opponent down to the mat and maintaining control over him.

  6. Step 2

Escape your opponent's hold when you are down on the mat to score 1 point. If you reverse the hold to come up from underneath and gain control of your opponent, you get 2 points.

  7. Step 3

Get points with a near fall by holding both your opponent's shoulders within 4 inches of the mat, getting one shoulder to the mat or holding him from behind by the elbows. Score 2 points for a 2-second near fall and 3 for 5 seconds.

Tips & Warnings
  • Penalties involve any illegal dangerous holds, technical violations like leaving the mat or false starts, unnecessary roughness or unsportsmanlike conduct. The first two penalties give 1 point to the opponent and the third gives 3.
  • Body slamming will lead to an immediate disqualification.
