Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Cleaning solution
- Lemon (optional)
- White vinegar (optional)
- Sponge
- Squeegee
- Cotton balls (optional)
Step1
Determine the type of shower you have. Your shower stall may be porcelain, fiberglass or tile. Depending on the type of shower stall you have in your home, your cleaning needs may be different.
Step2
Purchase your cleaning supplies. You can always buy over-the-counter cleaning products, such as "The Works" or "Scrubbing Bubbles." If you want to use everyday home products, use lemon and white vinegar for all shower types.
Step3
Spray your shower with the cleaning solution. If you're using home products, cut your lemon in half and wipe your shower walls, and glass shower door if you have one, with the lemon. Take cotton balls soaked in white vinegar and place them into the corners of your shower walls to attack any mildew.
Step4
Scrub the shower. You can use a sponge or a squeegee to wipe the cleaning solution or lemon juice and "shower scum" off of the shower walls, or glass doors. Remove the cotton balls from the corner of your shower, wiping away the mildew.
Step5
Rinse your shower walls.
