Post your local weather on your Friendster page so friends in your international Friendster network know if it is sunny or raining in your corner of the world. Local weather personalizes your Friendster page with a snapshot of your environment as it exists at any given moment in time, giving your visitors the sense that their connection to you is intimate and immediate. Here is how to post the weather on your Friendster page.

Make Your Weather Widget

Step1
Log in to Widgetbox to create a widget to display your local weather on your Friendster page. Click on the "Weather" link located to the right of the page under the heading "Browse by Tag."
Step2
Select "Weather Widget" from the list of widgets that appears on the next page.
Step3
Provide a name for your widget in the space provided.
Step4
Change the size of the box your weather will appear in on your Friendster page, if you choose.
Step5
Enter your zip code in the field provided and click to select which unit you want your weather temperatures displayed in, Fahrenheit or Celsius.
Step6
Preview your local weather widget in the area to the right of the working area.
Step7
Press the "Get Widget" button at the bottom of the working box.
Step8
Click the icon labeled "Get Code" in the pop-up box to generate the weather widget code.
Step9
Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button to copy the code to your computer's clipboard.

Add Your Weather Widget to Your Friendster Site

Step1
Go to "Profile" listed in the options bar.
Step2
Select "Edit Profile" from the drop-down menu.
Step3
Click the "Main" tab.
Step4
Paste the code in either the "About Me" box or the "Who I'd Like to Meet" box.
Step5
Save your changes.
