How to Add a Lava Lamp to a Friendster Site

Lava lamps are a funky throwback to the '60s that have made a comeback in recent years. Many people find lava lamps relaxing and pets have been known to be mesmerized by them. Mesmerize the visitors to your Friendster page and add a lava lamp to your profile.

Create the Lava Lamp

1. Log in to Friendster Tool and click on "Lava Lamp Generator" in the list under the heading "Flash Toys Generator."
2. Choose your colors. Click on the color square for each selection needed: lamp glass color, lava gel color and lamp color. This brings up a map of colors to choose from.
3. Select the symbol you want to display in the lava lamp base, if any.
4. Size the lava lamp using the slide bar.
5. Adjust the lighting effects for both the upward and downward flow of the lamp's lava gel.
6. Preview the lava lamp you've created with your choices.
7. Click the "Copy HTML Code" button at the bottom of the lava lamp creation area. The code is generated as you go through the choices so it's ready to copy immediately after your choices are complete.

Post the Lava Lamp to Your Friendster Site

8. Log in to your Friendster account page. Place the cursor over "Profile" listed in the options bar across the top of the page.

10. Select "Edit Profile" from the Friendster "Profile" drop-down menu.
11. Paste the lava lamp code into the "Describe Who You Want to Meet" box at the bottom of the page.
12. Save your changes.
