Instructions

    • 1

Make a green solution out of two cups of water, 1/4 cup of distilled white vinegar and about 1/2 tsp of regular dish washing liquid. The dish soap is a necessary ingredient, especially if you have used store bought chemicals previously. Those chemicals can leave a waxy film. Using the dish soap helps eliminate that film.

    • 2

Mix all of the ingredients together well.

    • 3

Pour the solution into a spray bottle. Be sure to label the bottle so that everyone knows what is in it.

    • 4

Spray the dirty windows with plenty of the solution. Using crumpled up newspapers, rub the cleaner on the window.

    • 5

Wipe the windows clean and dry with more newspaper. You can also use paper towels, but sometimes they cause streaking. Using old newspapers recycles a little more and doesn't produce any more waste. Using old newspapers is also cheaper than buying several rolls of paper towels.

Tips & Warnings
