Step 1
Buy archival quality acid free tissue paper as well as an acid free storage box with a lid that is big enough to contain the bouquet without pressing on any part of it. You could also invest in a paper protection spray which you can find at most craft stores.
-
Step 2
Spray your paper flower bouquet with paper protection spray in a well-ventilated area according to the instructions on the can. Allow the paper bouquet to dry thoroughly before you place it in the storage box.
-
Step 3
Package your paper bouquet carefully into the acid-free storage box. Wrap it gently and loosely in the acid free tissue paper with extra tissue paper in the box to support the delicate paper flowers.
-
Step 4
Decide where you would like to store your flower bouquet. Paper likes to live where we do and lasts longest is a temperature controlled environment between 60 and 70 degrees F at about 40 to 50 percent relative humidity. It also needs clean air and good circulation to thrive.

Step 5
Choose an area out of direct sunlight, and away from fluorescent light and ultraviolet light on the main level of your home for best results. A high shelf in a closet with good air flow is the ideal environment to preserve your paper flower bouquet.
