Instructions

    • 1

Place your left hand on a piece of construction paper, and use the pencil to trace around your hand. Lay your left hand on the paper, and trace around it the same way. Ask somebody to help you with this step if you have difficulty.

    • 2

Cut out the two hand shapes and decorate the turkeys with paint, markers or crayons. Draw feathers and give the turkey a face. Glue on a tiny red or orange beak.

    • 3

Lay each turkey with the decorated side down, and put a small amount of glue around the edges. Put a few cotton balls in the middle of one of the turkeys to give it a puffy, three-dimensional effect, and glue a Popsicle stick so it will stick out from the bottom of the turkey.

    • 4

Glue the two turkeys together and allow the glue to dry completely.

    • 5

Write the name of each Thanksgiving Day guest on a turkey, and put on at each guest's place at the table.
