A frontside disaster is a cool name for a cool trick that takes practice and never fails to wow the crowd. Just like any challenging skateboard trick, it takes some practice to perfect.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Work on your 180s on the flat first, making sure you've got the timing down and can consistently turn about in the air and land on your board every time. You don't want to bolt into a frontside disaster on a quarter pipe until you're rock solid.

  2. Step 2

Roll up to the top of the lip of a quarter pipe.

  3. Step 3

Wind up your shoulders in preparation for doing a 180.

  4. Step 4

Pop up the nose of your board as you do a frontside disaster on a quarter pipe, and turn a 180 up above the lip of the quarter pipe.

  5. Step 5

Land on top of the lip, and make some dramatic gesture with your arms (this is optional, but it does add coolness).

  6. Step 6

Go back on down the quarter pipe and act as if that beauteous frontside disaster wasn't anything at all.

  7. Step 7

Add frontside flips or whatever you can think of to your frontside disaster on a quarter pipe to make that oh-so-cool trick cooler still.
