Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • White tulle fabric
  • Ribbon or other kind of tie
  • Scissors
  • White outfit
  1. Step 1

Purchase a bolt of white tulle fabric. Purchase the softest grade of tulle you can get as stiff, scratchy tulle can be caught on things.

  2. Step 2

Cut your tulle fabric into lengths that equals twice the length of the distance from the top of your head to your knees. You will need four or more lengths of fabric.

  3. Step 3

Put on a white outfit. It can be as dressy or casual as you like as long as it is white. This color will show through the rest of your costume.

  4. Step 4

Drape the fabric over your head and let it hang down to your knees. You can put a layer in front of your face if you wish as you can still see through it, but if you plan to eat, you will want to leave an opening in front of your face. You can paint your face white or add a white mask to your costume instead. When all of the layers of fabric are draped over you, you will look like an ethereal ghost.

  5. Step 5

Finish off the costume with a ribbon or something else you can tie loosely around your neck. It needs to hold your costume in place without being restrictive on your neck. For a girl ghost, you can consider using a strong necklace. For a man, a bow tie might be a good idea.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be careful about what you tie around your neck to keep the costume in place. For your safety, It needs to come off easily should it get grabbed or caught on something.
