Preventing Diaper rash is very easy and will save you and your little one a lot of pain.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Sink or tub
  • Running water or poured from a pitcher.
  • Epsom Salt

Step1
Wash your little ones tushy with water after the diaper duty.

Baby wipes do not clean your baby properly, they leave behind feces.
Step2
Then pat him/her dry with a cloth or toilet tissue and put on a new diaper.

You don't need baby powder or special creams, good old water is the best.
Step3
If your little one already has a nasty case of diaper rash. Put him in the tub and let him/her play around in very shallow wash water and add some Epsom salt (If you don't have Epsom salt, table salt will work.)to the water. Children with diarrhea will often get diaper rash, it's almost unavoidable, but this will help out.

Warning: Never leave your child alone in water. A baby can drown in less than 2 inched of water.

Don't put too much salt, as it may cause the child to feel burning, 1/4 cup to about 5 gallons of water.

Tips & Warnings

  • Just try it. It's a lot easier, economical, environment friendly, than using baby wipes.
  • Never leave a child unattended in water.
