While there are many ways to get fantastic ideas, one place I find a ton of inspiration is at etsy.com. Here you will find a marketplace that focuses on handmade and reconstructed clothing, jewelry and many other items to give you ideas on what you can do with the stuff you have that you no longer wear.

Another great option is craftster.org. This site offers great ideas with tons of pictures and even easy to use tutorials to create the items.

eBay is yet another option. Do a search on DIY in the Clothing category and you will find tons of great clothing there.

Other great sites can be found by doing searches on 'DIY Clothing', 'Reconstructing Clothing' and 'Upcycle Clothing' just to name a few.
