Wall tile requires regular cleaning in order to remove the dirt buildup and dust that may accumulate on the wall tile surface. Cleaning wall tile is an easy task, but requires a bit of time and some real arm strength.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bucket
  • Sponge
  • Nylon stockings
  • Mild detergent
  • Two pieces of cloth
  1. Step 1

Gather the supplies. In the bucket, place enough hot water to fill the bucket half full. Place just a small amount of mild detergent into the bucket.

  2. Step 2

Wrap the wrists. It is important to use the cloth pieces to make cloth bracelets. These will keep the water from running down your arms when the cleaning gets above waist level.

  3. Step 3

Clean top to bottom. When cleaning wall tile, it is important to start at the highest point of the wall and work your way down. This ensures there are no water or clean streaks on the surface.

  4. Step 4

Cleaning texture. If the wall tiles are textured, the sponge may break apart in the cleaning process. In order to prevent this from occurring, use old nylon stockings to clean the walls.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you find there are spots on the tile wall that are sticky from tape, WD40 or alcohol will remove the sticky spot.
  • Crayons on a wall tile surface can be removed easily with WD40.
