Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Things You’ll Need:
- skateboard
- patience
- luck
- health insurence(just kidding)
- bandaids(not kidding)
Step1
Place your front foot in the middle of the board and your back foot on the tail.
Step2
Bend your knees. You will notice that you bend them even more with your back foot at the tail.
Here is one problem most people do. They think that to do this you just slightly bend your knees. NO!!!!!!! Bend them like you are trying to jump as high as possible.
Step3
Now jump. the moment that you are jumping an weightless SNAP the tail(quickly extend your leg on the tail of the board) This is the step that makes the board fly through the air. So now both you and your board are in the air. Your board should be rising vertically.
Step4
IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!
Guide the board so that it is now horizontal. To do this roll your ankle and continue pushing it till it reaches the front of the board(it sounds easy but you have less than one second to do this)
Step5
Land the board on the ground. As you fall allow your knees to bend slightly(like when you jump), so that the impact with the ground won't hurt you.
An example. Without the board jump. Notice how your body automatically allows your knees to bend at the impact with the ground.
