For those wanting to make a fetus or "alien" in a jar, it's actually simple.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A small BABY doll made from rubber (plastic doesn't hold paint that well.
  • (NORMAL FETUS only) Red, Light Blue, White, and Black paint.
  • (ALIEN FETUS only) Gray, White, Light Blue, Black, and Glow in the dark paint. --- If you can not find glow in the dark paint, then get light green ---
  • Fine Tip Paint Brush
  • Painting Sponge
  • Large jar (bigger than the baby doll and has enough room for it to fit)
  • Water
  • Yellow highlighter (if you want it to somewhat glow in a black light)
  • Paper towls
  • Latex Gloves
Step1
Strip the doll of all of it's clothing.
Step2
~~~ If you do NOT want an alien fetus, go to set 3. ~~~
Apply small amounts of wood glue on the doll in areas that you want to be "deformed" and odd. Apply it in dots and lines. If you want to be creative, draw patterns or odd symbols with the glue. Do not pat down the glue. Allow it to stick up a bit... Let it dry.
(Grey alien) Now for the painting... Use light blue and grey paint. Mix a very small amount of light blue with the gray. Apply it as you wish. You can use the glow in the dark paint to highlight the symbols and markings you put on the doll. Again, you have to let it dry.
- Now, paint the eye's black by using the fine tip brush.
(Green glowing alien) Take the glow in the dark paint, and gently apply it all over the doll using a sponge. Make sure it is completely covering the doll. (If you couldn't find the glow in the dark paint, then just paint it light green) If you want the symbols to stick out, use white or black paint to go over the symbols. Like always, you have to let it dry.
- Now, paint the eye's black by using the fine tip brush.
**** Alien fetus makers, go straight to step 7 after you have completed this. ****
Step3
If you want just a normal fetus, than mix a small amount of red with the light blue paint. It should turn out to be a purplish-looking-color. Use a sponge to apply the paint all over the body.
Step4
After it is covered and dry, use a fine tip brush and draw some cracks and breaks in the skin. Don't make them large or massive.
Step5
After this is dry, take a small amount of white paint and mix it with the light blue paint. Get a small amount on the sponge and gently pat it over the doll and over the black paint. Don't make it too thick. If you do on accident, simply take a paper towl and thin it down.
Step6
Using a fine tip brush, paint the eyes white and allow it to dry. After it is dry, use a fine tip brush to add red blood-shot lines to it's eyes. You add this by draw small lines around the inner corners of the eyes and move them towards the center.
Step7
After ALL the paint is dry, it's time to put it in the jar. Make sure the doll is completely inside the jar and nothing is sticking out.
Step8
Gently and slowly add the water to the jar while the doll is inside. Make sure it fills the jar completely.
Step9
(Normal fetus)
IF YOU WANT THE JAR TO GLOW - Take a highligher, and remove the spongy center that contains all the ink. Add just a small amount of water to the sponge, then gently squeeze 1 - 2 drops of ink into the water. Do NOT make it so dark that you can't see the fetus. If you add too much, you won't be able to see the fetus if you use a black light.
(Alien Fetus)
If you used the glowing paint, then don't add highlighter ink. If you used light green paint, then add 1 - 2 drops of highlighter ink to the water.
Tips & Warnings
  • If you add too much highlighter ink to the water, you can just pour out the water, and add more. Simple as that.
