Things You'll Need:
- Your Blog
- Time
-
Step 1
First, sign into your blog. When the blog opens, click on customize in the upper right hand corner of the page.
-
Step 2
Next, click on Posting. Compose the post you want on your blog.
-
Step 3
Then, click on Post Options at the bottom of the post box. It is a link, so it will be blue in color. You will see a box that says Post Date and Time. Put in a date BEFORE the date of your first post. For example, if your first post was done on May 1,2008, you will want to put the date for this second post sometime in April. Just as long as the date is before May 1,2008 you will be ok. This is what makes your first post stay on top.
-
Step 4
Click Publish Post and you are done! When you view your blog, you will see that your main post is still on top with the new one underneath it.

on 1/12/2009 Hi, for some reason I cannot get this to work. I even posted it in 2008 to get the date back and it would not work then. I started the posting on 8Jan09 and didn't want to postdate it that far as I was not part of the group then. My link is: http://gyr-gt-lee.blogspot.com/ The welcome is what I would like to keep at the top. Thanks, Brenda
