How to Find Grain Fillings for Wraps

  1. Step 1

Use leftover cooked grains in the fridge if possible. These can often include rice. Don't worry if this is a mix of rice with veggies from Chinese or Thai food. All the better. The whole thing can be warmed and placed in a wrap.

  2. Step 2

Utilize your leftover Mexican food, especially if it includes that delicious red or orange Mexican rice. Throw beans and salsa in the wrap as well, and you have a fiesta for the senses. Make sure to warm these up.

  3. Step 3

Bring some nutritious quinoa to the mix in your wrap. Prepare as specified, and it should take a matter of minutes. Quinoa tastes lovely when toasted.

  4. Step 4

Break out the couscous, another tiny grain that boils very quickly. Couscous nicely absorbs the juices of any cooked vegetable or meat so that can be especially handy for a wrap.

Tips & Warnings
  • Plain rice can also be mixed with mayonnaise and peas for an instant rice salad that can help fill a wrap.
