How to Cook Boneless Pork Tenderloin

Pork tenderloin is lean, healthy, and really easy to cook for a quick weeknight meal. Pork tenderloins usually come two to a package, so roast them both and you'll have leftovers for later in the week!

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Whole pork tenderloin
  • Cooking spray
  • Baking sheet
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Marinade (optional)
  • Oven
  • Meat thermometer

Step1
Marinate the pork tenderloin in your favorite marinade (try teriyaki or soy sauce), overnight or at least for a couple of hours in a glass or ceramic dish.
Step2
When you're ready to cook, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step3
Remove the pork tenderloin from the marinade and place on a baking sheet you have sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. If you didn't marinade the pork, season with salt, pepper, and your favorite seasoning. (I like Cajun seasoning). Make sure to season both sides of the tenderloin.
Step4
Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast the pork for about 25 to 35 minutes, depending on your oven.
Step5
The internal temperature of the pork should be 160 degrees F when it is done. Use a meat thermometer to check it. If it's not at 160 degrees F place back in the oven and roast for another 5 minutes or so.
Step6
Remove from the oven, allow to rest for 10 minutes or so, slice, and serve. Serve with brown rice, a green salad, and you have a complete, healthy meal.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can grill pork tenderloin, too. Follow the above instructions, just preaheat your grill to medium high heat, then turn it to medium, and grill for about 10 minutes a side, or until the pork's internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
