How to Watch Movies on a Playstation 3

Did you know that you can store movies on your Playstation 3? All you have to do is copy a movie of your choosing using the proper software and enjoy.

Things You'll Need

• Handbrake software
• Playstation 3 console
• DVD
• External hard drive

Instructions

1. Download the Handbrake software at the Web site www.Handbrake.fr and install it to your computer.

2. Put the DVD of your choosing into the computer and open the new Handbrake software.

3. Select the DVD in the source menu within the Handbrake program and allow it to read the DVD.

4. Select the "PS3" output feature and select a destination for the completed movie file.

5. Allow the DVD to convert (it usually takes about two hours).

6. Copy the movie file to an external hard drive when the file is complete.

7. Remove the external hard drive from the computer and place into the Playstation 3.

8. Select the movie file from the main menu and then select "copy."
