Transplanting any plant depends on what it is, soil, location. But if you're just looking for a basic how to, then here ya go

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • GOOD MULCH
  • shredded newspaper
  • large shovel
  • a little miracle grow or fertilizer
  1. Step 1

Dig the hole for the bush about 6 inches wider than the root system. Add a layer (like deep as a one layer cake) of mulch and a layer of shredded newspaper.

  2. Step 2

Put the bush on the first layers and fill in with fertilizer and mulch. A little more newspaper and then the rest mulch. Make sure theres plenty of room for water around the bush by creating a donut shaped trough around the widest part or furthest from the bush.

  3. Step 3

small amounts of water daily preferrably in the late afternoon or early evening....I water around 8pm

Tips & Warnings
  • I use coffee grounds, egg shells, and most left over fruits and veggies in my mulch. I mix in goat poop too, rake that into a pile and add leaves and turn it all year. Plus I have a goat that irritates me by pooping everywhere so I rake it into the mulch pit.
  • Bet youre wondering what the shredded newspaper is for. It helps keep moisture in your soil. And its cheap or practically free and wont harm the plants or soil. No more piles of newspaper in the garage.
  • This is just a basic generic how to, since you werent specific as to what the bush is. I could look it up in my 13 gardening books if you would like. I love to garden.
