• Lavasoft Ad-aware
• Spyware Blaster

1. You need to download Lavasoft ad-aware and Spyware blaster. Both programs can be found on downloads.com. If you have a mac, you probably don't need a spyware remover but pilot is a good program for mac.

2. After you install both programs, open up Spyware blaster first. This program will block any spyware that comes to your computer from Internet explorer or Mozilla Firefox. Update your spyware blaster manually and then enable protection for the browsers.

3. Next, open up ad-aware. In ad-aware, you want to update the program and spyware definitions. After the update, run a full scan for your first scan. This will usually take some time so be patient. After the scan is complete, remove all spyware by checking all boxes and deleting them.

4. To keep spyware off your computer, update spyware blaster once a week and smart scan your computer with ad-aware once a week. Your computer will get rid of any nasty junk, if you can perform this once a week.
