Quick and easy. The family will think you have been in the kitchen slaving over the stove for hours. Surprise them!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 6 Eggs
  • 4 Tbls. flour
  • 1 Tbs. Vanilla
  • 2 Cups Buttermilk
  • 1 Stick of Butter melted
  • 1 Tbls. lemon rind grated (optional)
  • 2 8" uncooked Pie Shells
  1. Step 1

    Mix sugar and flour and set aside.

  2. Step 2

    Beat eggs well.

  3. Step 3

    Add milk, vanilla, butter and blend.

  4. Step 4

    Pour egg mixture into two 8 inch uncooked pie shells.

  5. Step 5

    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until pie is firm.

  6. Step 6

    Cool and eat.

on 10/23/2008 I apologize msmalone, bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour. Test to see if pie is done with toothpick. Hugs!!!

on 10/10/2008 For some of use we may not know what temperature to have the oven on, and how long to cook the pie. Please add to the receipe.
