Gourmet Pizza is expensive. Follow this easy and simple recipe to give your family that gourmet taste pizza for a portion of the price of ordering. So easy the children can make their own version. Low in Salt than ordering.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Pre made Pizza dough
  • Shredded Motzarella Cheese
  • Small Can of Tomatoe Sauce
  • Carne Asada Meat
  • Seasoning if desired
Step1
Preheat over according to pre made pizza crust.
Step2
Place pizza crust on pizza pan or large enough pan to accommodate the crust. Very lightly brush olive oil on crust.
Step3
Great beginning Spread can of Tomato Sauce over crust. As thin or thick as you like it. Add - Seasoning as you like... Less is more when trying new ideas.
Step4
Add the Meat Sprinkle 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese over the pre made pizza crust. Sprinkle Carne Asada meat that has already been prepared to your liking. See last step for instructions on making Carne Asada.
Step5
Finishing Touches Sprinkle 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese over all of that.
Step6
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Baking time varies on thickness of toppings so watch pizza after 10 minutes.
Step7
Slice it up Let Hot Pizza stand for 5 minutes to allow pizza to cool and firm up so that cutting is easier. I use a huge knife to cut my pizza but if you prefer a pizza cutter by all means.
Step8
To make Carne Asada. Meat - Use Carne Asada meat found at market or beef stir fry or a thin sliced chuck, round or sirloin piece. Cut into tiny pieces no larger than a quarter(Cutting Meat is easier if you place it in freezer to get firmer). Sauté in sauce pan with a little salsa or make your own Asada combination of chili pepper, garlic, and onion seasoning. Can use some topatila to go HOT. Sauté mixture and let cool to warm. Only need 1 cup of meat to make a pizza. If there is left over meat freeze and save for next time or simply make another pizza and try something new with it like cheddar cheese instead of mozzarella.

Tips & Warnings

  • Substitute Cheddar Cheese in part or all of mozzarella cheese.
  • Add toppings as you wish this is just my idea of 5 minute prep and 15 minutes cooking for a meal in 20 minutes or so.
  • Pizza is very hot when removing from oven.
