Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 cups water
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee crystals
  • 1/2 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1 pound bittersweet (not unsweetened) or semisweet chocolate, chopped
  1. Step 1

    Bring water, sugar and instant coffee crystals to boil in large saucepan over medium-high heat.

  2. Step 2

    Keep stirring until sugar dissolves completely. Mix in orange juice concentrate.

  3. Step 3

    Reduce heat to low. Add chocolate and whisk until it turns smooth.

  4. Step 4

    Chill it uncovered for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.

  5. Step 5

    Process sorbet mixture in ice cream maker.

  6. Step 6

    Transfer it to the container. Cover and freeze for at least 6 hours and up to 3 days.
