How to Make Easy 10-Ingredient Coleslaw Dressing

Coleslaw dressing can be made or tweaked a thousand and one ways. The great thing about it is that it's so flexible, depending on the kind of taste you like. So grab a bowl, a fork or whisk, and get blending. Even if you have half of the ingredients, it will taste fine -- as long as the oil and vinegar are there. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Rice or Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Cilantro
  • Ground Pepper
  • Bowl
  • Whisk or fork
  • 1 tsp each of:
  • Horseradish
  • Mayonnaise
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Soy Sauce
  • Hot sauce (Thai is good)

Instructions

      Whisk together oils, lemon juice and vinegar.

      Add horseradish, mayonnaise, mustard, soy sauce and hot sauce.

      Blend together in bowl or blender if preferred.

      Taste and add more hot sauce or lemon juice to taste.

      Toss dressing with coleslaw. Sprinkle with cilantro (parsley is okay too) and freshly ground pepper.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add freshly minced garlic if a more garlicky dressing taste is desired.

  • Don't add in more of the stronger ingredients than listed.
