Bounties of berries can be frozen to enjoy later. There's nothing better than the taste of fresh berries in the middle of winter!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Fresh berries
  • Wax paper
  • Baking sheet
  • Ziploc bags
  1. Step 1

    Wash all berries and gently pat dry with a paper towel. Place in a single layer on wax paper lined baking sheet. Put the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze berries until solid to the touch.

  2. Step 2

    Once berries are frozen individually, remove baking sheet from the freezer. Place frozen berries into ziploc bags or other air tight freezer containers. Be sure to mark with the date. Frozen berries should be used within one year.

  3. Step 3

    Thaw frozen berries in the refrigerator and enjoy in your favorite recipes.
