How to Take Kate on a Date in Grand Theft Auto IV

Whether you want to or not, at some point, Packie will ask you to take his sister Kate out on a date. Whether you like her or not, treating her nicely will earn you some points with her brother. But here's the best part: she is easy to please.

Instructions

1. Pick her up on time. Like all women you'll meet, Kate likes a punctual man. Try not to be too late.

2. Wear a nice outfit. While she'll get in the car with you if you're wearing your starter clothes, she'll appreciate you more if you dress up a bit. A quick trip to Perseus or Modo will do nicely.

3. Bring a decent car. Again, she'll get in whatever car you bring provided it isn't about to explode, but a nicer car will score you more approval points. Most any sedan will work fine, but a PMP-600 works wonders.

4. Take her to the bar. Know that bar in Bohan where you play darts with Little Jacob? Take her there and you'll never go wrong. You don't even need to play darts with her! Kate is the only woman you can take on a date who will drink with you. As long as you can stand a little drunken dialog coming from her, you'll be fine. If she's not in a drinking mood, she also likes to play darts. Either way, you can't loose.

5. Get her home safely. This should go without saying, but as we all know, driving safely in Liberty City is not always easy. Don't be afraid to bail out if your car catches fire! Kate will follow if you bail. She won't be happy about it, but she'll follow you as you procure new transportation.
