  1. The Gift of Garlic

    • 1

Wash your hands thoroughly. Make sure to wash between your fingers, around your wrists and under your fingernails.

    • 2

Cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser such as Cetaphil. Pat dry with a clean towel.

    • 3

Peal away the skin around the garlic clove and separate one clove from the bunch.

    • 4

Slice the end of the clove with a clean, sharp knife. You will be able to see the garlic juice.

    • 5

Place the end of the clove (the juicy side) on the blemishes. Dab the end and move on to the next blemish, if any. This may sting!

Tips & Warnings

  • Breakouts happen for various reasons but if you're mixing hundreds of different chemicals and putting them on your face, chances are your skin will be irritated. Try cleansing with a gentle product, treating your blemishes with one treatment, such as garlic, and moisturizing with a spray such as Evian or Peter Thomas Roth Oxygen Mist.

  • This is not recommended for punctured blemishes or open skin.
