How to Make Simmering Holiday Potpourri

A thoughtful and delicious-smelling gift, simmering holiday potpourri will make any house smell like the holidays. Yum!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Ingredients as listed
• Cloth or mesh bag
• Holiday ribbon

1. Gather ingredients:
   1 orange
   1 lemon
   1 lime
   4 cinnamon sticks
   1 teaspoon cloves
   2 bay leaves

2. Assemble all ingredients in a cloth bag and tie with holiday ribbon. If using a mesh bag, like that from a bag of oranges, you will need to enclose the cinnamon sticks, cloves, and bay leaves in a small ziploc bag before assembling.

3. Attach the following instructions:
   
   "Simmering Holiday Potpourri"
   
   Slice 1/2 orange
   Slice 1/2 lemon
   Slice 1/2 lime
   2 cinnamon sticks
   1/2 teaspoon cloves
   1 bay leaf
   
   Combine above in a pot of water and simmer on the stove for a delightful holiday fragrance!"

4. Makes enough for two batches of potpourri.
