This is how to get the Huawei EC325 USB Modem to work on MAC OSX

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Mac Computer
  • Huawei USB Modem
  • internet connection from anywhere to download software
  1. Step 1

    First you need to download the Launch2Net. You can get it here. http://www.novamedia.de/download/e_demo_l2n_mac.html Just download the Demo version. It will install all the drivers. Install the software before connecting the modem.

  2. Step 2

    Connect the modem to an empty USB port. Then go to network preference, then Network. It will show a newly detected modem, the Huawei. Configure this modem.

  3. Step 3

    Put in your service provider, user name, password, and phone number to dial.
    In the modem tab, select NM Universal Modem, error checking can be disabled.
