How to Get Professional Results when Painting

Getting professional results when painting can be easily obtainable. All you need is a good paint brush and some patience

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• paint brush
• painters tab
• Paint rollers
• Paint Rolling Pan

1. The first step is to tap off windows, baseboards and any other molding or trim you do not wanted painted.

2. If the color you are trying to cover up is darker or you wall has stains you may want to first put a coat of sealer of primer on your wall first. If it is an oily stain, you may want to cover the area with an oil based sealer.

3. After the coat of primer you will want to use your paint brush and paint the edges of your wall. Often times this is called cutting in your room/wall.

4. Now just use your paint roller and put two coats of paint on your walls.

Tips & Warnings

• you don't need the most expensive paint brush, but a good one will make cutting in your walls and painting the molding and trim easier.
• use an oil base primer or sealer on any oily stains, such as grease, permanent marker, crayons etc.
• proper ventilation is always necessary when painting. It best to open a window and use a fan.
