The inside foot scoop soccer trick is when a soccer player can kick up the ball with the inside of his or her foot, and he can then bounce it from one foot to the other. This trick increases coordination so it's a good technique to incorporate during practices for a game. Read on to learn about how to do the inside foot scoop soccer trick.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Soccer Ball
Step1
Get a feel for how the ball hits the inside of your feet. Practice dribbling the ball back and forth between your feet.
Step2
Have a friend or team mate roll the ball to you at a fast pace. Line the inside of your dominant foot up with the ball as you watch it rolling toward you.
Step3
As the ball approaches the inside of your foot, curve your foot upward almost as if you are trying to pick the ball up off of the floor with the inside of your foot.
Step4
Try scooping up the ball by dribbling the ball back and forth between your feet. Once you gain enough speed and consistency with the dribbling, try to scoop up the ball with the inside of your dominant foot.
Step5
Attempt the inside foot scoop soccer trick with your other foot after you have mastered the trick with your dominant foot.
Step6
Try bouncing the ball off of your foot after you have scooped it up. Then bounce the ball off of the inside of your opposite foot. Continue bouncing it back and forth.

Tips & Warnings

  • Practice, consistency and speed is important when implementing this trick.
  • Be careful not to scoop up the ball and have it hit your face.
