Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
I'm assuming you are a business person with a website, your profits are not really there (or you want more profits) and need help getting visibility on Google.
If you don't have a website, then get one. In fact, every business today needs a website. If you're a business without a website, you're dead in the water, so get one.
Okay, so you have your website.
Step2
What market are you serving?
Who are you targeting?
Is your content up to par with your target market?
Are your keywords in place? You really need to make sure that you have keywords related to your niche placed strategically within the copy of your website.
Step3
Also make sure that each product has it's own page and URL.
The benefit for this is that, both the URL and the page will contain the keywords or the name of the product you're selling.
So by having a separate page and URL for each product, you're telling Google, "hey, rank me for blue widgets"
Step4
After that, all you need to do is get backlinks to your site.
That's it.
There are two main things that you need to achieve high rankings for your website on Google: Relevant content and backlinks.
When Google sees the backlinks, they deem that as a "vote" of confidence and give you a good ranking.
So get cracking.
