Things You'll Need:
- Digital Camera (duh)
-
Step 1
Obtain a digital camera if you do not already own one. Digital cameras these days are not too expensive and it does not have to be a really high end camera to make you profits on the internet.
-
Step 2
Take a bunch of pictures. LOTS and LOTS of pictures of anything and everything. Use different angles and effects. It is important to have a lot of pictures.
-
Step 3
Review the pictures, hopefully you have taken several because most won't be that great. Select the ones that you think are really good pictures.
-
Step 4
Upload your photos to a site such as istockphoto.com. There are others to choose from as well such as shutterstock.com, shutterpoint.com, fotolia.com, and dreamstime.com. These sites pay you when your photos are downloaded, some are on commission anywhere from 20% to 80% and others are a set price.
-
Step 5
Rinse and repeat. The more quality photos you have on these sites, the more money you are likely to make.

on 2/4/2009 Another thing I forgot to mention; You cannot have any noise (excessive grain) in your photos. They will be rejected if this is the case. Visit the sites that sell stock photos and get an idea of what they are looking for. The average photo will not sell. Good luck and have fun
