At around three months and up you start by giving him 1st stage baby food just fruits. Three months being the earliest time depending on your child digestive system

Put him in his swing or feeding chair.

  3. Step 3

Put the bib around him and have a bottle of formula or breast milk along side you.

  4. Step 4

Use a spoon with the rubber protection layer for his gums. And get the wipes he will make a mess.

  5. Step 5

Start feeding him little by little he will spit alot of it out but you try to get as much as you possibly can in. He's going to make different faces for the different flavors.

  6. Step 6

Try not to give him something sour like peaches instead use bananas which is more on the sweet side.

  7. Step 7

Finish half of it or more depending how you see your child is reacting to it than finish with his milk .

  8. Step 8

Try this at least once a day by the end you'll notice him enjoying his food session, opening his mouth for the spoon and not letting one drop out.

Tips & Warnings
  • The doctors will give you a later time to start baby food but nobody esle could ever know your baby more than you.
  • This takes him time to master the eating process so still give him his formula or breast milk.
  • Do try this with caution at a early stage make sure your child is in a sitting position or close to sitting upright as possible due to choking precautions. And put as little as possible food in his mouth.
