This describes some of the best dorms on the campus of Vanderbilt University, in Nashville, Tennessee. Whether you are a new student that doesn't know much about the school or a current student that just needs some extra information, this is for you. Some factors taken into consideration were the age of the dorm and style of living.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Check out the Crawford House if you are going to be a first-year student at Vanderbilt University. This dormitory is one of nine that will exclusively house first-year students starting in 2008. Rooms in Crawford Hall are traditional in style, meaning that two students share one common room measuring 12.6 feet by 16 feet, with two beds and two desks. Crawford Hall features common bathrooms and common study areas.
Step2
Check out Sutherland House. Like the Crawford House, the Sutherland House is strictly for first-year students starting in 2008. This dormitory is one of the newer on the entire campus of Vanderbilt University, as it was built in 2006. This dormitory is also traditional in style, so two students share a common room that measure 12.6 feet by 16 feet. Like Crawford House, this dormitory also offers community bathrooms and study areas.
Step3
Check out Currey Hall if you are an upperclassman looking to live on campus. This dormitory features rooms that measure 12.6 feet by 8.5 feet. The most interesting about Currey Hall is that the rooms in this dormitory are single occupancy. Residents of this dormitory may find that it offers the most privacy of all the dorms on the rest of the campus.

Tips & Warnings

  • Schedule a trip to the campus to check out these dorms so that you can see them for yourself.
