Step 1
Volunteer. If you’re passionate about a particular cause, joining a non-profit organization or local chapter group can help you do good while putting you in touch with lots of singles. Not only women outnumber men significantly in volunteer organizations, but people 18-30 are the biggest demographic in this area.
-
Step 2
Take a class. Community colleges, adult learning annexes and even libraries and local parks offer dozens of classes that anybody can join for a nominal fee. One advantage of taking a class is that you guarantee that you have at least a common area of interest with the women you meet there.
-
Step 3
Walk your dog. People are always attracted to singles with pets because they see it as a good indication of character. Somebody who is capable of caring for a pet would probably make a good partner and a good parent as well. Head to the local dog run for a chance to meet women and start conversations.

Step 4
Become a regular. Rather than visiting dozens of different bars and pubs, stop by at the same location on the same days to start understanding what type of women frequent the place. If you’re looking for a fun young woman but you see that the place is mostly full of professionals in their 40s, you need to move on.

Step 5
Don’t forget the obvious places. Coffee places and bookstores are great places to start casual conversations with strangers. You can always ask for the title of a book or request a menu recommendation without getting strange looks.
