Things You'll Need

• Fresh strawberries
• Solid shortening
• Chocolate chips
• Wax paper

Instructions

1. Gently wash the strawberries and pat dry with a paper towel. Leave stems attached. Set aside.

2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of chocolate chips (your choice of semi-sweet, dark or milk chocolate) and 1 tbsp. solid shortening. Microwave until melted. Stir until combined.

3. Hold a strawberry by the stem and dip down into the melted chocolate. Place dipped strawberries on wax paper and chill until firm.
