Step 1
Arrange your tiles. Put your tiles together into common letter pairings. For example, AO don't go together as often as OA, SH, CH, ST, and ING. Looking at them as word chunks makes it easier to see more options.
-
Step 2
Look for the bingo. Using all seven letters at once gives you a hefty bonus. Sometimes it's worth not playing letters and getting a lower score if you can use them later in a bingo.
-
Step 3
Master the two letter words. Look for opportunities to make multiple words. If you can lay tiles next to another word that makes several two-letter words, you will earn more points than building only off of one letter.
-
Step 4
Know your Q words and the words without vowels. Words like Qi, qanat and qindar can be spelled without a U. Myrrh and rhythm only use a Y.
-
Step 5
Score big with S. S is your friend. Adding an S to another word is a surefire play, but it's even more effective when you can build a word as well. Adding a word like SWAT or STANDING by adding the S to the end of another high point work will lead to major points.

Step 6
Love your blanks. Blanks = Bingo. Save your blanks and try not use them unless it's in a bingo.
