You have just popped in a favorite CD only to discover it is scratched. Don't fret. There is an easy way to repair the scratched CD/DVD.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Non-gel toothpaste
  • Cottonball
  • Soft Cloth
  1. Step 1

    Place CD on a flat surface, scratched side up.

  2. Step 2

    Apply a small dab of toothpaste (non-gel type) to a cotton ball. Lightly press as applying the toothpaste to the CD. Circling the CD from the center to the outside edge.

    Rinse under cool water and remove all toothpaste. Dry with a soft cloth.

  3. Step 3

    Take precautions to prevent future scratches. Only handle CDs by the outside edges. Store in the original case when not in use.
