How to make Black Forest Pie

Sweet and rich with chocolate, cream and almonds. :)

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• 1 Pastry Shell (baked)
• 4 oz unsweetened Baking Chocolate
• 14 oz sweetened Condensed Milk
• 1 tsp Almond Extract
• 1 1/2 cup Whipping Cream (whipped)
• 21 oz can Cherry Pie Filling
• Almonds (Toasted)

1. Melt chocolate with sweetened condensed milk over low heat in pan.
2. Remove it from the heat.
3. Combine almond extract and stir well.
4. Pour it into a bowl and let it cool completely. Beat it till it becomes smooth.
5. Mix whipped cream.
6. Place it into prepared pastry shell.
7. Cool it for about 4 hours to set.
8. Serve it with the cherry pie filling.
9. Garnish with toasted almonds.
