Flowers, chocolates, and taking her to her favorite restaurant... quite expensive, yet satisfying. She just loved it. This year, I want to do something different...

Step 2
Lately, she was always hinting she wants an iPod Touch. When you think about it, being redundant about the whole dinner thing was beginning to be more of a cheaper option! So, I went shopping on the day of our anniversary to surprise her with her gift. Afterwards, I went back to my apartment to go thru my DVD collection to find her favorite movies. I converted these movies to the iPod Touch using the iPod video Converter. I downloaded 5 movies in less than 2 hours!

Step 3
She came over to my place and brought some pizza that night... “Is this all?” she asked, after seeing I didn’t do anything special. “Yes... Let’s just enjoy the pizza” I replied. Going thru the last 2 slices, I took out my gift... she was enthusiastic! She loved the idea of her favorite movies on her iPod, that she can take it anywhere and watch it anytime.

Step 4
Waiting for her to stop jumping up and down and going thru her new iPod Touch, I took out another present, this one I bought a month back. I got down on one knee, took out a small box containing a simple platinum ring and asked, “Will you marry me?”
That was truly one of the most memorable moment of both our lives...
