Its poison oak season. Its on your skin, but what about your clothes and furniture?

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Fels-Naptha soap

Step1
Take all the clothes that have poison oak oils on them and keep seperate from regular laundry.
Step2
Wash in cold water. Take a cheese grater and grate the Fels-Naptha soap into the wash. About 1/3 of the bar will work.
Step3
Set the washer on a soak cycle or just leave the lid up for about an hour. Then wash with regular detergent and fels-naptha. Hang out or use dryer.

Tips & Warnings

  • Dont eat the soap. Always wash poison oak oils with cold water just like you do for yourself when it gets on your skin.
