Making friends is one of the biggest fears teens have before going to college. If you follow these simple steps you are certain to find great friends that will last a life time.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A personality
Step1
OPEN YOUR DOOR. During the first few weeks of school everyone is in the same situation you are in. Most people come to college without knowing anyone. If you leave your dorm room door open people will know that you are interested in making friends and you will be surprised how many people stop by.
Step2
GO TO THE CAMPUS PLANNED EVENTS. Though the events provided by the school might seem ultra lame, they are a great place to meet new friends. If you look up the events that you are interested in you will be more likely to make friends with similar interests.
Step3
GO TO PARTIES. If you hear of a party that is being thrown take a group of people from your dorm and attend. Even if you are not formally invited, most college parties are open to all students.
Step4
INTRODUCE YOURSELF. A lot of people are shy, and if you do not introduce yourself to them you could miss out on a great friendship.
Step5
FACEBOOK STALK. Make sure to remember the names of the people you come in contact with. Look up the names of people in your classes and add them on facebook. People are sure to remember someone that they are friends with on facebook over someone they met randomly and never came in contact with again.
