Sometimes your email can contain offensive graphics. It also may have invisible images that tell the spammer that your email is active. You can prevent these images from being downloaded.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to your Yahoo Mail and click on Help.

  2. Step 2

    Go to General Preferences

  3. Step 3

    Under composing email, choose compose messages as Plain text.

  4. Step 4

    Under Messages--Security, choose block HTML graphics in email messages from being downloaded.
