This is a ridiculous suggestion. Boiling a good quality wine is on a par with melting ice-cream before serving! In all my years of cooking I have never come across such a silly idea!If you really want to waste a little drinkable wine, poach the eggs in the microwave with a TEASPOON of wine in a proprietary microwave poacher. What next? Poached egg flambe? -
