on 2/9/2009 This is not correct. Steps 2 and 3 should be switched. Let's say I want to convert 212 degrees Fahrenheit to Celsius. I'd start off with F = (9/5)C+32. Then I'd have 212 = (9/5)C+32 or C = 100 degrees Celsius. If I follow the article steps, I'd end up with C = 85.8 degrees Celsius.
