Step 1
Find wallpaper with different food on it and place it on the walls of the room. You could find wallpaper made up of apples, for example and then have a bowl constantly full of apples on a table in the room. You may have to search at craft stores for wallpaper such as this. If you're more of an artist, you could paint or stencil different foods on the walls of your room instead.
-
Step 2
Buy replica posters of Andy Warhol's work and hang them in the room. You could buy a poster of the “Banana Album” or of the Campbell's Soup can, for example. These are great pieces of art and work very well with some food themes.
-
Step 3
Fill the room with books full of recipes from stars on the Food Network. Almost every person with a show on Food Network has at least one book. Place a small library of those books in the room so that they can be enjoyed by all who enter.
-
Step 4
Search for ceramic food items and place them throughout the room. Many of these can most likely be found at a local antiques store or possibly at your nearest mall. You could find ceramic replicas of practically all of your favorite foods and put them all over the room.
-
Step 5
Place an Apple computer in the room. Just because your room has a somewhat awkward theme doesn't mean that you can't be productive in the room. An Apple computer would be the perfect appliance to place in a food room.
-
Step 6
Buy novelty phones and other appliances and place them in your room. There are plenty of telephones that are shaped like a hot dog, hamburger or other food item. You can find these at a novelty store or just by using any search engine online.
