Prepare the chicken. Place the chicken breasts in a 12 by 17 glass baking pan. Apply generous amounts of the mesquite marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

    • 3

Heat your oven on high-broil at 500 degrees for at least 10 minutes.

    • 4

Broil the chicken evenly. Place the chicken, evenly spaced, on the broil pan and cook for 7 minutes per side.

    • 5

Baste the chicken after it has cooked on each side for 7 minutes. Baste generously with BBQ sauce and cook for another minute.

Remove from heat, allow the chicken about 5 minutes to cool and then serve with your favorites sides.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not add the BBQ sauce until the last few minutes of cooking or it will burn.

  • Cook the chicken at least 6 to 8 minutes per side to assure that the meat is safe to consume.
